Many neighborhoods similar in size and stature of Quaker Ridge shy away from encouraging garage sales.  They bring in more traffic which can be a safety concern when garage sales happen on a regular basis.  In saying this, some people are looking to “clean house” and have a need to get rid of items.  As a result we are looking to bring forth a compromise.

For one weekend we would like to encourage those interested in making items available to participate in our neighborhood garage sale.  This will isolate the traffic to one Friday / Saturday…May 7^th and 8^th.

Tremont will be having their Spring neighborhood garage sale on the same date which should help bring more buyers in for this event.
